Periana is a beautiful town and municipality in the province of Málaga. It belongs to the comarca of La Axarquía. Periana is midlle of nature with amazing mountain views, and only 28 kilometres from Vélez-Malaga and 60 km from the Malaga airport.

Periana The village, which is famous for the excellent peaches and olive oil produced on its land, lies in the foothills of the Sierra de Alhama, near Zafarraya Gap, on gently sloping terrain which descends into the Velez region, with La Viñuela Reservoir providing its surroundings with an attractive touch of color.
